1. Understanding the physical set up & to highlight geographical scenario of the country with advanced statistical & remote sensing techniques.
2. Enabling students to understand the use of advance tools & techniques in subject.
3. Getting knowledge of resources through field work at local level.
4. Starting Ph.D. & M.Phil., Research center & laboratory for research. 
5. Organizing national & international level seminar & conferences in geography.
